I was introduced to Christopher as an AmeriCorps member. Now that I am part of the UPCS community, I am so happy to be his mentee! I just wish that I could have spent more time being his mentee. I have really noticed how much he has grown as a student. When I saw his leadership skills during the Black History Month celebration, I couldn’t stop smiling. I hope that he continues to be a leader and builds his confidence in doing so. When Christopher puts his mind to something, he does it! I truly enjoy our conversations about Anime! Christopher, I know that right now it seems overwhelming but you are so close to the finish line! You can do this! Thank you for being a great mentee.
