Parents and Students, please be aware of these free tutoring resources available to all students in Allegheny County.
Gwen’s Girls is excited to continue to offer our Academic Support Initiative (ASI) virtual tutoring services for the upcoming 2020-21 school year. ASI tutoring is a free service offered to boys and girls who are students in the Pittsburgh area in grades K-12. Our tutors have a wide skill range that includes ELA, math, science, foreign language, SPED, and others.
Allegheny County Community Learning Hubs
The Allegheny County Community Learning Hubs are a great option for parents who need child care when in-person school is not in session. A partnership between Allegheny County, Allegheny County Partners for Out-Of-School Time (APOST), and Trying Together, most Learning Hubs are open all day on weekdays, but parents should check with individual Hubs for exact times. Free Wi-Fi and headphones will be provided, but children should bring their own technology device (laptop computer, tablet, phone).
