Ms. Beck says: Bryell is one of my favorite students. She first came to UP last school year and we immediately began a routine of checking in and talking regularly. She has this calm demeanor she maintains and is a lot of times a quiet observer. Once she speaks up, it’s obvious she’s more outspoken than she lets on. Bryell does a great job of balancing school and her responsibilities at home. During phone calls and Zoom meetings, while assisting Bryell with college preparations, I could hear her little one in the background. She’d always stay focused. Her ability to concentrate on tasks required of her and not be distracted is a characteristic that keeps her grades as excellent as they are. Bryell is going to do great things in life and create the best future possible for her and her son. I’m excited for and am proud to see her graduate.
