On World Peace day 6th graders participated in Walk With Amal. Amal is a 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee child and has come to be a symbol of human rights and the rights of refugees. Since 2021 Amal has traveled to 97 towns and cities in 15 countries drawing attention to children fleeing violence and persecution across the world.
