The sixth grade students in Mr. Corbett's science class learned about embryology through the 4-H program. Penn State University offers fertilized chicken eggs to qualified teachers to teach about animal life cycles. Students have engaged in activities that have examined chick growth from inside the egg to hatching. Sixth graders were responsible for the study, observation, and maintenance of these baby chickens. Not only did the 6th grade enjoy this project, but so did many others.
