Juniors traveled all the way to Harrisburg to visit the campus of Harrisburg University. This day-long trip introduced the students to all the campus had to offer.
Anai'ya tells us, “I loved how we were able to interact and bond with the admission's officer and other staff that were helping to give us a tour of the campus. . . What I like the best was the financial benefits. Having a high GPA can cover most of the tuition and there are also scholarships that are given just for maintaining your grades. Overall, I think it's a great school to attend.”
Encountering as many colleges as possible gives Urban Pathways students perspective on how to continue their educations. “What the trip to Harrisburg did to me was to reopen my mind to what I really want to go for,” said Zuriel, “even if the college wasn't the one for me it gave me more insight on the life after high school.”
